Each grade volunteer is working to have quizzes and tutorials available for Math, Science and Social Studies. This service provides parent and students an opportunity to check their understanding of the material and to reinforce it. Scores are not recorded. Content is provided by volunteers working with the non-profit K-12 Assessment  Center, Inc.

Parents and students can assess their mastery of Math, Science and Social Studies for grades 3-8.

The Assessment Center provides self-assessment quizzes and tutorials of a wide range of subject matter. It is an excellent tool for parents to assess how well their children are learning. Parents may also use the assessments to help their children with their homework and to prepare for tests in school.

It’s also a great way for students to test themselves. Results are immediate. Quick, concise reviews are also provided in many subject areas to help students when they can’t figure out the correct answers.

Christine, Teacher Volunteer: These assessment quizzes are a great help for me as a teacher. I can see where I need to help individual students. These are not 'standardized tests'. They are a thorough assessment of the material learned and retained

Jerry, Parent Volunteer: This is a great way for me to help my children. I can watch them take an assessment quiz, and see where they are having trouble. The tutorials even help me to remember what I learned twenty years ago.
